Date: 25th October 2009 (Sunday)
Time: 4:00-6:00 pm (AGM) 6:00-8:00 pm (Dinner)
Venue: Hong Kong Baptist University (TBC the exact location)

Please kindly advise 14th Exco your availability and attendance.

The agenda of the AGM as below:

1) Receive and adopt the minutes of last Annual General Meeting;

2) Receive and adopt the annual report and the annual financial
report;

3) Election for the 15th Exco and Year Plan Presentation by 15th Exco; and

4) AOB

The annual report and annual financial report for 14th Exco will be issued to all HKOTSSA members 2 weeks before the date of AGM for your information.

For the members who cannot join the meeting, please kindly complete
the following proxy form and email to us on or before 23rd October, 2009.

各位香港傑出專上學生服務協會會員：

闊別已久的傑專會國內交流團將於今個盛夏載譽舉行。

中國改革開放後，已經實現了近30年平均9.7%的國民生產總值高速增長。世界銀行估計若中國的國民生產總值每年增長8.2%，於2020年中國的國民生產總值將會略高於美國。但一如其他發展中國家，在加快經濟增長時往往損害環境，並衍生其他社會問題。在發展經濟的同時，國家如何平衡環境與發展、如何保育各地的文化、如何以科技推動建設和諧社會，均成為世界關切的課題。

得到中央人民政府駐香港特別行政區聯絡辦公室及新疆維吾爾自治區敎育廳的支持下，傑專會將於2009年7月25日至8月1日組團前往新疆維吾爾自治區考察，探討國內有關可持續發展及環保事宜。此外，是次行程亦會到多個新疆維吾爾自治區的著名景點參觀，包括：天池、千佛洞、火焰山等。

活動詳情如下：

- 了解國內環保政策及可持續發展方針
- 參觀國內司法機構
- 了解少數民族的敎育情況
- 了解少數民族的風俗文化

日期: 2009年7月25日至8月1日
費用: $4500 (包機票、機場稅、食宿、參觀、講座、當地交通和保險費用)
名額: 20人 (若報名人數超過20人，本會會採用抽籤形式作最終決定)

Thank you for your continuous support to the Hong Kong Outstanding Tertiary Students’ Services Association (HKOTSSA).

On behalf of the HKOTSSA, I write to invite you to attend our first Guest Sharing Session this year. In this Sharing Session, we are very pleased to have Ms Mary Cheung (張瑪莉小姐) as our honorable guest. She would like to share with us her experience and insight about social services and life planning. The details of the sharing session are as follows:

Date: 16th August, 2008 (Saturday)
Time: 2:30pm to 4:00pm
Venue: Roundtable café (1/F, Percival House, 83 Percival Street, Causeway Bay)
Fees: HKD $70 (including refreshments)

We believe such gathering would be an excellent platform for our members to get to know the HKOTSSA as well as the community better through learning from our guest and sharing your experience in serving the community. In addition, it will serve as a great occasion to renew ties and share remembrance among our old and new members.

Dear all,

Kung Hey Fat Choy! Sum Sheung See Sing!

For your kind information, the new batch of awardees (total 20 students selected from the eight local tertiary institutions) have been selected earlier this month.

As the HKOTSSA representative on the interview panel myself, I must say that the candidates this year are all very strong and most of them possess an outstanding track record of social services and achievement as well as a strong commitment to the society.

The Outstanding Service Award (OSA) Presentation Ceremony will be held on March 24, 2007 (Sat) at the Baptist University (exact time & venue to be announced).

Before the OSA Presentative Ceremony, all the 16th awardees have been invited to attend the Spring Feast to be held this Sunday. Details are as follows:

Date: 25th February, 2007 (Sunday)
Time: 7:00 - 9:30pm
Venue: Lucky Chiu Chow Restaurant, 92 Granville Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Fee: $150 per person

As the past awardees as well as members of the HKOTSSA Family, we sincerely invite you to come to the dinner. Let’s tell our new members how much we care about the community and our association.
